In line with the Founder/Chancellor’s commitment to developing academic staff proficiency (established in 2010), the university will be organizing the 2024 Certificate Course on Modern Teaching Methods and Pedagogy Skills. This training is scheduled for Thursday, March 28, 2024, and Friday, March 29, 2024.
This program is designed to enhance teaching effectiveness by providing in-depth, interactive sessions focused on contemporary methods and technologies in education.
The course will feature both keynote and breakout sessions, led by distinguished educators and experts in the field of teaching and learning, including:
- Professor Olanike Kudirat Adeyemo, FCVSN, FAAS, FAS, Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Professor of Veterinary Public Health and Preventive Medicine, and Pioneer Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation & Strategic Partnerships), University of Ibadan.
- Professor ‘Lanre Adigun Fagbohun, SAN, NPOM, Former Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU) and Member of the Nigerian Universities Ranking Advisory Committee (NURAC), National Universities Commission (NUC).
- Professor Emem Anwana, Faculty of Management Sciences, Durban University of Technology (DUT), South Africa.
This event is for all ABUAD academic staff, academic librarians, and technologists.
Participants will receive a Certificate of Participation after the training, contingent upon full participation.
