The newly elected officers of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ikere Branch has today 15th June, 2022, paid a curtesy visit on the ABUAD Deputy Vice Chancellor ARISP, Prof. Sunday Damilola Olawuyi, SAN.
The delegation which was led by the Chairman Elect, Dr. Michael Afolayan informed him that they came on familiarization tour and to intimate the Deputy Vice Chancellor who is also a member of the Branch of their plans. He extolled the virtues of Prof. Olawuyi for being a great benefactor, good ambassador and dependable leader of the Branch. He recalled the numerous Contributions of the Learned Silk which included donation of a Library to the Branch, sponsorship of Young Lawyers and numerous financial assistance to the Branch.
In reaction, Prof. Olawuyi appreciated the delegation and congratulated them for their emergence as new leaders of NBA Ikere Ekiti Branch. He promised his continuous support for the Branch, especially the new Executives. He thereafter offered full sponsorship for 20 young Lawyers of the Branch to the Annual General Conference of Nigerian Bar Association slated for 19th-26th August, 2022 in Lagos.
