In line with ABUADs visions to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), through lifelong learning and continuous personal development among the wider community, The Research and Innovation Directorate of Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti (ABUAD) is welcoming registration for its online community development seminars.
Community development seminars are open to anyone who is 18 years or older and has a love for learning and personal development. These seminar sessions are offered infive sessions in total (two hours a class), over a two-week period, and are offered in English. Participants who successfully partake in a minimum of four out of five classes receive a certificate of completion. These seminar courses are not credit-bearing and are ineligible for transfer towards any formal degree or program at ABUAD.

1. Business Development and Negotiation Skills.
Date: November 9 – 13, 2020
Time: 4 PM – 6PM (WAT) Daily
Seminar Fee: N10,000 (25 USD)

Module 1: Business development plan
Module 2: Business development strategies
Module 3: Business advocacy skills
Module 4: Conflict management
Module 5: Case studies
2. Project Management and Financing: In a pandemic constrained world.
Date: November 16 – 20, 2020
Time: 4 PM – 6PM (WAT) Daily
Seminar Fee: N10,000 (25 USD)

Module 1: Project management definition and initiation
Module 2: Defining the project plan with planning cost, time, and policy
Module 3: Financial modeling and planning for startups
Module 4: Project execution, monitoring, and communication

3. Strategic Leadership and Management.
Date: November 23 – 27, 2020
Time: 4 PM – 6PM (WAT) Daily
Seminar Fee: N20,000 (50 USD)
