YOUNG LAWYERS’ FORUM HONOURS PROFESSOR DAMILOLA OLAWUYI, NIGERIA’S YOUNGEST ACADEMIC TO BECOME SAN

On Friday 25th, March 2021, the Nigerian Bar Association,  Young Lawyers’ Forum, Ikere Branch organized the maiden edition of the Young Lawyers Forum Symposium in honour of Prof. Damilola Olawuyi, SAN. with the theme “Search for sustainable Economic Development in Nigeria and the Role of the Young Lawyer”

The event was organized to recognize Prof. Olawuyi’s trailblazing achievements as the youngest academic Senior Advocate in Nigeria, and his enormous contributions to youth empowerment, mentoring and legal education in Nigeria and beyond. In attendance were many dignitaries, academics, senior and young Legal Practitioners within Ekiti State and across Nigeria. The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Ekiti State, Olawale Fapohunda, SAN chaired the occasion while the Royal Father of the day, HRM Oba Adejimi Adu Alagbado, the Ogoga of Ikere Ekiti was ably represented at the event.
